This collection contains material collected by Commander Stanley Hart who served in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps. There are two series in the collection. In the first series are copies of The Knickerbocker, a newsletter published on USS New York (BB-34). Included are issues from volumes seven, eight, and nine, dating from October 1927 through August 1929. The set is incomplete. Series II, Miscellaneous Publications, contains the booklet Addresses Delivered at the Closing Exercises U.S. Naval Medical School, published in 1916, and the Marine Corps publications Addresses of U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Stations, printed in 1913, and U.S. Marines: Soldiers of the Sea, dated 1912.
